1. INTRODUCTION & PIPEDA COMPLIANCE Veritas Logic ("we," "our," or "us") provides autonomous digital infrastructure, AI agents, and estimating systems for the construction trades. This policy outlines how we collect and protect your data in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) of Canada, and establishes the Terms of Service and Limitations of Liability for using our technology. 2. DATA COLLECTION & PRIVACY To operate our digital agents, we collect: Contact Data: Names, phone numbers, emails, and company details. Communication Logs: Audio recordings and text transcripts of calls interacting with our AI agents. Operational Data: Blueprints, takeoffs, material lists, and bookkeeping ledgers voluntarily submitted for AI processing. Financial Data: Payment details processed securely via third-party processors (e.g., Stripe). 3. HOW WE USE, STORE, AND PROTECT YOUR DATA Your data is never sold or traded. It is used strictly to power your digital agents, route communications, and process estimates. We utilize encrypted, enterprise-grade third-party infrastructure to process voice data, host servers, and handle billing securely. We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide our services. You have the right to request access to or deletion of your personal data at any time. By interacting with our systems, you consent to this data processing. If you wish to be placed on our "Do Not Call" list, inform the AI agent directly or contact us, and your number will be permanently blacklisted. 4. ASSUMPTION OF RISK (AI ESTIMATING & OPERATIONS) Veritas Logic deploys Artificial Intelligence to assist with blueprint estimating, bookkeeping, and call routing. While our systems are built on rigorous deterministic logic, AI is an assistive tool, not a replacement for human verification. Estimating Liability: The AI extracts and calculates material takeoffs based solely on the quality of the documents provided. The human contractor is 100% responsible for verifying all final material counts, measurements, and costs before submitting a formal bid. Veritas Logic assumes zero liability for blown estimates, underbidding, overbidding, material shortages, or financial losses resulting from the use of our AI takeoffs. 5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY (THE "HOLD HARMLESS" CLAUSE) By using Veritas Logic systems, you explicitly agree that Veritas Logic, its founders, and its affiliates shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our digital agents. System Outages: We rely on global telecom networks. We are not liable for missed leads or lost revenue due to carrier outages, API downtime, or internet failures. Financial/Legal Advice: Our bookkeeping AI organizes data but does not constitute certified financial, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for reviewing your books with a licensed CPA. Maximum Liability: In any dispute, Veritas Logic’s maximum total liability to you shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Veritas Logic in the 30 days preceding the claim. 6. INDEMNIFICATION You agree to indemnify and hold Veritas Logic harmless from any lawsuits, claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) brought by a third party resulting from your use of our digital agents or your failure to verify AI-generated estimates on your job sites. 7. GOVERNING LAW These Terms and Policies shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. 8.
